Zukunft für Bweyas Kinder (Future for Bweya’s Children; ZBK) was found on September 10th, 2011 in the North German town Bad Segeberg and has now grown to 70 members. The association aims to sustainably secure the basic needs of children who are looked after by the Bweya Children’s Home. These include primarily the areas of food, shelter, education and health.
Even if a long-term independence, eg through their own agricultural land, craftsmanship purpose companies is desirable, Bweya Children’s Home is unable to fulfill it’s duties without outside support. Therefore ZBK strives to make a sufficient contribution to the running costs through sponsorships, membership fees and other donations. Moreover, renovation projects are financed with special donations through ZBK.
